According to Bitkom, there is a shortage of 137,000 IT specialists

The shortage of skilled workers in the German digital economy is immense. According to the industry association Bitkom, there is a shortage of 137,000 IT specialists in Germany. This is due, among other things, to the decline in students in the IT sector. The government has recognized the problem and developed measures to address it. The main focus is on attracting skilled workers from abroad.

During Chancellor Olaf Scholz's trip to India, relations between Germany and India have already been intensified. In the future, skilled workers from abroad should not be exposed to high bureaucratic hurdles that prevent them from entering or working in Germany.

Explicit reference was made to the issuing of visas and the language barrier. India, which can serve as a role model, is already considered an IT hub and is becoming economically stronger. For this year alone, a GDP increase of 6.1% has been forecasted for India
